The Las Américas Hotel Convention Center was the chosen venue for the inauguration of the 2025 World Summit on Political Communication, an international meeting that brings together regional leaders, journalists and experts in the sector.

We are extremely proud that the 2025 World Summit on Political Communication chose the Las Américas Hotel Convention Center as its venue. This prestigious event was attended by regional leaders, journalists, and industry experts. The opening ceremony was led by Daniel Ivoskus, the summit's president, in a forum that brings together leadership, debate, and trends in communication. The first day featured keynote addresses, panels, and discussions on communication policies, regional strategies, and the role of communication in the public sphere.

Among the participants were prominent local authorities such as the governor of Bolívar, Yamil Arana; the mayor of Cartagena, Dumek Turbay; as well as representatives from various Latin American countries.

In his speech, Ivoskus stated:

“Once again, thank you for welcoming us, Cartagena. We come to propose that we all be part of three unforgettable days, where respect, plurality and the professionalization of political communication will be the protagonists.”

The 2025 World Summit on Political Communication consolidates Cartagena as the epicenter of major international meetings and reaffirms the Hotel Las Américas as a strategic partner for events that shape the global agenda.
